This Privacy Policy describes how PEMAC LLC (“PEMAC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile Applications and Services (collectively the “Services”). You also should review any in-App privacy disclosures if you publish mobile apps to the Apple App Store or other platforms.
This Privacy Policy applies to the AceIt mobile application ("AceIt" or the "App"), an SAT preparation app operated by PEMAC LLC ("we," "us," "our"). It governs your use of the App and related services. By creating an account or using AceIt, you agree to these terms.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
a) Information you provide directly
Registration/account information (name, email address, phone number, physical address)
Contact form submissions, support requests, training registration, consulting engagements
Payment and billing information (if you purchase paid services)
User content you upload or share (documents, feedback, images, data)
b) Automatically collected information
Log data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, time of access)
Analytics data (how you use our site or App, pages/screens visited, clicks, duration)
Mobile App device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, device model, OS version) if you use our mobile App
Cookies and similar technologies to personalize your experience and for analytics
c) Information from third-parties
Payment processors, analytics providers, ad networks (if applicable)
Publicly available information or business data
If you integrate with third-party services via our Apps, we may receive your data from them
d) Aceit
Account info: name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign
up (including via Sign in with Apple or Google).
Study data: your practice answers, scores, diagnostic/test results, streaks, and
goals (including grade level and intended SAT date you provide).Purchase info: subscription status and transaction identifiers (payments are
processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details).Content you submit: messages to the in-app AI tutor and any feedback or question
reports you send.Device & usage data: device model, OS version, app version, device identifiers,
and in-app activity used for analytics and to improve the App.
How We Use the Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services
Process transactions, billing and payments
Provide support and communicate with you
Analyze usage, trends and performance, including for security and fraud prevention
Personalize and customize your experience
Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your information:
To our service providers, subcontractors and partners who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., analytics, payment, hosting, security)
To comply with legal obligations (e.g., when required by law, court order, government request)
To protect and defend the rights, property or safety of PEMAC, its users or the public
In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (you will be notified, if required)

Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. We delete or anonymize information when no longer needed.
Your Rights & Choices
If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (to provide the App), your consent (for tracking and optional features), and our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the App). You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and object to processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Your data may be processed in the United States; we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:
Accessing or requesting a copy of your personal data
Correcting or updating inaccurate data
Deleting your data (subject to legal obligations)
Withdrawing consent (where applicable)
Opting out of marketing communications

Security of Your Information
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your personal information. Given our specialization in cybersecurity, we aim to use industry-standard controls. However, no transmission over the internet or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Our services are based in the United States (Tampa, FL). If your data is transferred to or processed in other jurisdictions, still the safeguards described herein apply. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer.
Children’s Privacy
AceIt is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly; contact us at pemac2023@pemac.info to report this.
Many AceIt users are minors (ages 13–17). For users we identify as under 18, we do not use their personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising, and we do not "sell" or "share" their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We limit data collection from minors to what is needed to operate the App (such as providing practice content, saving progress, and maintaining accounts).

Mobile Applications & App Store Requirements
If you use our mobile Apps (on iOS or other platforms), additional privacy disclosures may apply:
We may collect device identifiers, analytics and usage information via the App.
We comply with platform requirements (such as Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines) and may provide a privacy link in the App Store listing pointing to this Privacy Policy.
If the App uses in-app purchases, advertising, or other third-party SDKs, the applicable privacy/data-collection practices will be disclosed in the App listing and inside the App.
Service Providers We Share Data With
Supabase — account, authentication, and database hosting.
PostHog — product analytics.
Superwall — subscription/paywall management.
Apple and Google — sign-in and, for Apple, in-app purchases.
OpenAI — processes your AI tutor messages and diagnostic data to generate
responses (see "AI Features").TikTok and Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement and attribution (see
"Advertising and Tracking").
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing for advertising
measurement may be considered a "sale" or "share" under certain laws; see your
rights below.
Advertising and Tracking
We work with advertising partners (TikTok and Meta) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. With your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, we may share limited device and event data (such as app installs or subscriptions) with these partners for attribution. You can decline tracking when prompted, or later via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We do not use this tracking for users under 18. Your California Privacy Rights (and similar state laws) California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct their personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt or email us at pemac2023@pemac.info with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 18.
AI Features
AceIt includes AI-powered tutoring and performance insights. When you use these features, the content you submit (your questions and relevant performance data) is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the AI tutor. Per our provider's API terms, this content is not used to train their models. AI responses may contain errors and are for study assistance only.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and update the “Effective Date” at the top. Your continued use of the Services after those changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
